Luca Bolzani is a seasoned leader and investor in the pharmaceutical sector, with a background in organic chemistry and a long-standing track record in scaling and transforming innovative companies. After beginning his career as a researcher at Zambon, he served as CEO of two major industry players: Micromacinazione SA (1991–2001) and Sintetica SA (2001–2019), contributing significantly to their international development. A serial entrepreneur, he is the founder of Micro Sphere SA, Schedio SA and Myia SA, where he continues to serve on the Board of Directors. He has also held prominent institutional roles, including President and Vice President of Farma Industria Ticino, and President of Fondazione Agire—the regional agency dedicated to supporting innovation, technology and entrepreneurship, with a focus on SMEs and high-potential start-ups.
